Welcome to Kindergarten!! My name is Christine Hoffmeyer, and I am your child’s Kindergarten teacher. I am looking forward to working with you and your child. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. This will be my twenty-eighth year teaching at Wyland. I have been a classroom teacher in second, third, fourth, and fifth grade at Wyland. I have also worked as an additional first-grade teacher to support students in small groups. I am very excited to work with kindergarteners this year! My family includes my husband, my three children, and my two dogs, Finn and Charlie.
In our classroom, you will find a safe and friendly environment where we encourage, support, and care for each other. We will work together as a team to make this year enjoyable and successful. I am looking forward to a year filled with exciting learning experiences!

Hello, my name is Katie Lange and I am so excited to be teaching your kindergartener this year! This is my 6th year at Wyland and 13th year of teaching. I have had the joy of teaching kindergarten for 12 of the 13 years. As a Kindergarten Teacher, I strive to create a classroom that incorporates play and discovery into the learning process, as well as helps students grow both socially and emotionally.
I graduated from the University of Central Missouri where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am also certified in Early Childhood Special Education.
I have lived in St. Louis my entire life and enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I love being outside, especially hiking, playing sand volleyball, and doing yoga.
There are so many wonderful learning milestones that happen during Kindergarten, and I look forward to working with our newest Wyland students as they begin their school journey.
