About Ms. Schillhahn
Hello Wyland Community!
My name is Tara Schillhahn and I couldn’t be more excited to begin my first year as one of Wyland Elementary’s School Counselors. Although this is my first year at Wyland, it is my 16th year of school counseling. For 6 years I worked as a multi-tiered systems facilitator with Special School District. This role not only provided invaluable learning and experience it also gave me
the opportunity to work alongside many schools in Ritenour. Which is why I know firsthand how fortunate I am to be joining this community.
I earned my MA in Professional and School Counseling from Lindenwood University and BS from Truman State University.
Dr. Ross Greene tells us simply that kids do well when they can.
Dr. Sharroky Hollie reminds us about the need for outrageous love and to V.A.B.B.
Dr. Bruce Perry shares that healthy relationships are the biggest agents of change for a child.
And the most powerful therapy is human love.
